Funders
The PALMS project was launched with a grant from Lumina Foundation for Education. With Lumina Foundation funding, PALMS staff researched and created the content for this Website and developed Tools for Latino Family Outreach. Lumina Foundation, a private, independent foundation, strives to help people achieve their potential by expanding access and success in education beyond high school.
Lumina Foundation and the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation are joint funders in the PALMS effort to study the process by which middle schools use Tools for Latino Family Outreach to develop their own outreach programs. Funds from the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation are used to carry out the study in partnership with Helen Tyson Middle School in Springdale, Arkansas.
The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation is a private, nonprofit foundation whose mission is to improve the lives of Arkansans by funding programs and projects that improve education; economic development; and economic, racial and social justice.
